The live-action film adaptation of the manga Mieruko-chan has received a promotional image, trailer, and release date.

Therefore, the live-action adaptation of Mieruko-chan will premiere on June 6, 2025.
What to expect from the live-action adaptation of Mieruko-chan?
Based on the horror-comedy manga created by Tomoki Izumi, the story follows Miko, a high school student who suddenly develops the ability to see grotesque and frightening ghosts in her daily routine. Despite the overwhelming fear, Miko tries to ignore them at all costs, pretending that nothing is happening and maintaining a seemingly normal life.
Fans of the work can expect an adaptation faithful to the tense and fun atmosphere of the manga, with humor to balance the scares. However, the work received an anime adaptation in October 2021 with 12 episodes animated by Studio Passione.
Finally, Tomoki Izumi writes and illustrates the work. The publisher Kadokawa has been publishing the manga chapters online on the ComicWalker website since November 2018 and has already released eleven printed tankōbon volumes.
