Famitsu has released its ranking of game and console sales in Japan for December 2025. The survey considers only physical copies and covers the period from December 1st to 28th, 2025 .

The big highlight of the month was Mario Kart World , which sold approximately 416,000 units and returned to the top spot after three months . Furthermore, the title reinforced its strength at the end of the year, boosted by the family audience.

Right behind it, Pokémon Legends ZA appeared in two versions. Meanwhile, the Switch and Switch 2 editions racked up impressive numbers and came very close to the top spot. Another name that caught attention was Kirby Air Riders , solidifying Nintendo's appeal among players of all ages.
