Is Kale an homage to Broly or does she have another connection in Dragon Ball Super?
When the anime was announced, no one could have guessed that it would feature female Saiyan transformations. After the first trailers were shown and episodes were released, we were introduced to a small part of Akira Toriyama's hidden universe. In episode 92, we met the stressed-out "Caulifla," who for the first time was a woman who became a Super Saiyan in the series. Not satisfied with that, the following episode introduced Kale, the new Saiyan from Universe 6 and Caulifla's sister.
Unlike her sister, Kale is shy but hides immense power.

Even in the first promotional images, the character resembles the villain Broly, introduced in three films of the saga that don't follow the "main storyline." The character's form is enraged and uncontrolled, as seen in her confrontation with Goku.
With the Tournament of Power approaching, which brings together the strongest from each universe, Kale will certainly participate. The question remains whether she will be able to control the new power she has gained.
Also in the episode, Frieza joins Goku's team!
Heading to Earth, our Universe 7, Goku had the idea to recruit Frieza from Hell to fill the vacancy left by Buu. Upon arriving, Goku asks Frieza to join the team and participate in the 24-hour tournament. Frieza ends up accepting the offer with one small condition: if Universe 7 wins, he asks Goku to revive him with the Dragon Balls, and Goku agrees.
The story of the new saga was created by Akira Toriyama and produced by Toei Animation, beginning airing on July 5, 2015. In the timeline, it takes place after the Majin Buu saga and before GT. The series be dubbed soon
