Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from publisher Shueisha announced that the characters Rui and Akaza will join the game Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles as playable characters.
The game will add the characters as part of its first free update; a total of three updates are planned to happen after launch.
The game will have a digital deluxe edition that includes unlock keys for the characters with school uniforms , Butterfly Mansion outfits for Tanjiro , Zenitsu , and Inosuke , 8,000 Slayer Points , and early access to the game starting October 13th .
Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles will launch for PlayStation 5 , PlayStation 4 , Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One , and PC via Steam on October 15th of this year.
