Kadokawa revealed during the “Fantasia Bunko Daikanshasai Online 2023” livestream this Saturday (14) that the light novel series “Private Tutor to the Duke's Daughter” (Koujo Denka no Kateikyoushi) written by Riku Nanano and illustrated by cura is receiving an anime adaptation.

Synopsis
After failing his final exam for his dream job at the royal court, the promising young wizard Allen desires nothing more than to retire to a simple life in the countryside. Unfortunately, he can barely afford the train fare! His only solution is to get a job, but his only lead is not modest: Duke Howard, one of the most powerful nobles in the kingdom, needs a private tutor for his daughter Tina.
Despite her brilliant academic abilities, Tina is unable to cast even a single spell. To make matters worse, the entrance exams for the prestigious Royal Academy are fast approaching, and magical aptitude is mandatory! Will Allen be able to use his unique way of casting spells to help Tina overcome her magical deficiency, a mystery that even the kingdom's best wizards haven't been able to solve? And does her father, the Duke, really want him? Thus begins Allen's journey as a private tutor to the Duke's daughter.
Finally, Nanano originally began serializing the story on the Kakuyomu in October 2017. The last update was on April 1st. Kadokawa began releasing the novels in physical format in December 2018 and released the 15th volume on August 19th. Furthermore, Tamura Mutou began serializing a manga adaptation in Shounen Ace Plus in September 2019. Kadokawa released the third volume of the manga on April 26th.
