The highly anticipated sequel to the anime Berserk, produced in the style of Studio C4, has released a full trailer for the first episode. Thus, the Berserk: The Black Swordsman is entirely fan-made.
According to the trailer, the story takes place in the present day, after the events of the Golden Age Arc, the beginning of the manga, where we see Guts seeking revenge against Griffith, the iconic villain of the saga.

In the fictional world of Berserk, we delve into darkness and meet Guts, the Black Swordsman, a mercenary scarred by a brutal past. Previously, he was adapting to a different life when he joined the Band of the Hawk, led by Griffith, a leader with grand ambitions. However, the band suffers a great tragedy when supernatural events begin to haunt them. After Griffith betrays his band to gain power, Guts is marked by the Mark of Sacrifice. Then, driven by his desire for revenge, he embarks on a journey to kill his former friend, who is now one of the five Apostles.
Finally, all of Studio Eclypse was dedicated to the memory of the author of the work, Kentaro Miura. Furthermore, fans can expect the release of the first episode of Berserk: The Black Swordsman in the summer of 2025.
