The official website for the Ai Mai Mi anime adaptation announced that the series will have a second season, titled Ai Mai Mi ~Mōsō Catastrophie~ (Delusion Catastrophie).
The main cast and crew will remain the same as in the first season. Yuka Otsubo as Ai, Aya Uchida as Mai, Maaya Uchida as Mi, and Ai Kayano as Ponoka-sempai. Seitaro Mukai from the comedy duo Tenshin, who played the narrator in season 1, is now listed on the cast page.
Based on the 4-koma manga by author Choboraunyopomi, the anime features 3-minute episodes. The story revolves around the four members of the manga club, Ai, Mai, Mi, and Ponoka, who go through absurd situations of all kinds, except drawing manga.
