James Cameron 's new production, directed by Robert Rodrigues, has received a new trailer that was promised before Comic-Con. With a look unlike anything seen in other fiction, Alita impresses with its visuals and cutting-edge computer graphics.

In the meantime, the production had its premiere date postponed by Fox. Previously scheduled for July 20, 2018, it is now scheduled for December 21 of the same year.

The film produced by James Cameron has a fierce competition at the box office with two other blockbusters: Aquaman ( trailer ) and Bumblebee , which arrives on the same day. The film features a star-studded cast, Jennifer Connelly, Eiza González, Christoph Waltz, Mahershala Ali, Michelle Rodriguez, Jackie Earle Haley, and Rosa Salazar as Alita.

Based on the manga Battle Angel Alita, it tells the story of the title character, who lives in a cyberpunk world set in the 26th century. In the plot, bounty hunter Daisuke Ido finds a disabled cyborg and decides to treat her as his daughter, giving her the same name. Inspired by her adoptive father, the electronic girl then decides to follow in his footsteps and become a hunter herself.
