Ano Hana (The Flower We Saw That Day), a live-action special that will feature the original story from the 2011 anime, has gained new information. The band that will compose the main theme of the special will be Galileo Galilei (Mobile Suit Gundam AGE, Taifū no Noruda) where he will sing the song “Aoi Shiori” (Blue Bookmark) as the opening theme. The song also served as the opening theme for the original anime in 2011.
Masaki Nishiura (Densha Otoko) is directing the project with a script by Yoshihiro Izumi (Ranma ½, live-action Death Note). The special arrives later this year in Japan.
