The official website for the adaptation of Tsutomu Satou 's Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei ("The Irregular at Magic High School") has announced a new trailer.
The story takes place in a world where magic is not a fairy tale, but has existed for almost a hundred years. In the spring, the Magic University welcomes new students, among them the twin siblings Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba; from that moment on, the university will never be the same.
Satou began publishing the novel in 2008, with illustrations by Kana Ishida (character designer for Aquarion Evol).

The series is scheduled to premiere in April, the animation studio is Madhouse, the director is Manabu Ono (Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, Saki Episode of Side A), and the character designer is Ishida Kana.
