Netflix Twitter account has revealed a new trailer for the film Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King and it's worth remembering that it will premiere on the platform on June 16th of this year.

Therefore, the manga's creator, Yuki Tabata , is serving as the film's chief supervisor and character designer. Similarly, members of the anime's staff will return for the film.

The anime adaptation of the manga premiered in Japan in October 2017. The show was originally listed with 51 episodes, but continued with a new season starting with episode 52 in October 2018, and then again in October 2019. The anime went on hiatus starting in April 2020 due to COVID-19, resuming in July 2020 with episode 133. The show aired its 170th and final episode in March 2021.

Finally, author Yuki Tabata launched Black Clover in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2015.

Synopsis

Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King suggests a compelling story, showing Conrad, the ancient Wizard King feared as evil, appearing alongside three previous Wizard Kings who were sealed away. Conrad possessed the Imperial Sword and attempted to destroy the Clover Kingdom after being revived. A young man yearning for power as the Wizard King then wages an endless war against his predecessors! The malevolent Magic Knights rallied behind him as he challenged the throne.
