The official website for the film adaptation of Shinichi Ishizuka 's Blue Giant manga revealed on Wednesday that the film will be released in Japan starting on February 17, 2023.
The film was originally scheduled to premiere this year, and the site also revealed a new visual and the film's crew.
Synopsis
Miyamoto Dai, a high school student with a passion for basketball, changes his life the first time he sees a live jazz performance. The incredible music touches him deeply, and he immediately decides to dedicate himself to the saxophone. Yuzuru Tachikawa is directing the film at NUT. NUMBER 8, while the editor of the Blue Giant manga and story director of the Blue Giant Supreme manga is writing the script. TOHO Animation will distribute the film.
