BOFURI author's comments on the closure

BOFURI has officially come to an end! Thank you so much for all the support I received! Thanks to everyone's encouragement, I was able to reach an ending I'm completely satisfied with. This joyful journey, built on countless miracles, was truly joyful for me—and I hope it was the same for you.

So, with the 19th and final volume about to be released, the conclusion of BOFURI marks the end of an era for this fun fantasy adventure series.

The light novel , written by Yuumikan and illustrated by Koin, was initially published online on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. Fujimi Shobo acquired the work and released the first volume of the light novel in September 2017 under the Kadokawa Books imprint.

However, the work was adapted into a manga, with art by Jirō Oimoto, and serialized in the seinen manga magazine Comp Ace , by Kadokawa Shoten, with eight tankōbon volumes released.

Furthermore, Bofuri had its anime adaptation, produced by the Silver Link studio, premiered between January and March 2020. Finally, a second season of the anime was released between January and April 2023.
