This Monday (13) Netflix released a new trailer for the second season of Castlevania: Nocturne , revealing the premiere date of the 2nd season of the anime , for January 16, 2025 .

The series will have a total of 8 episodes of 25 minutes each, continuing the story from the first season.

The anime is a spin-off of Castlevania and takes place 300 years after the main events involving Sypha and Trevor . Thus, in this new season we will follow Richter's continued search for Erzsebet Bathory, the Vampire Messiah, who intends to plunge the world into darkness.

The brother duo previously starred in the game Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and also made appearances in other games such as Castlevania: Symphony of the Night .

The studio Project 51 Productions is responsible for producing the anime and is working in conjunction with Powerhouse Animation . Therefore, the first season of the spin-off premiered in September 2023 and continues the events of the main Castlevania series.

Synopsis of Castlevania:

France, 1792, at the height of the French Revolution. In a remote region in the west of the country, the counter-revolutionary aristocracy forms an alliance with the terrifying Vampire Messiah, who promises to "consume the sun" and use an army of vampires and Creatures of the Night to end the revolution and enslave humanity. However, the sorceress Annette seeks out Richter Belmont, the last descendant of the legendary family of vampire hunters, to lead the resistance.

The anime focuses on Richter Belmont , a descendant of Sypha and Trevor, and is set during the French Revolution (1789-1799), inspired by the games Castlevania: Rondo of Blood and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night .
