Demon Slayer – Anime finally reveals Hotaru's face without the mask

Hotaru Haganezuka Tanjiro 's blacksmith , always hides his identity with a mask in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba , but now he has finally revealed his face in the anime. The reveal came in the new episode of the anime in the scene where the blacksmith was finishing the protagonist's new sword.

In Demon Slayer season 3, Tanjiro, Muichiro and Mitsuri face the demons Gyokko and Hantengu to defend the Blacksmith Village . While Muichiro was imprisoned, Gyokko went to Hotaru's hut and decided to torture the blacksmith.

On the other hand, Hotaru was so focused on making Tanjiro's new sword that he didn't even notice the powerful demon at his side. Gyokko was angered by this and tried to make the blacksmith drop the sword to hurt him physically and mentally, but Hotaru continued steadfastly and strongly in her work even with her mask broken.

Synopsis:

After defeating Upper Moon 6 in the Entertainment District, Tanjiro must travel to the Blacksmith Village to forge a new sword, as his old one has been damaged. However, along the way, he encounters new demons sent by Muzan, the main villain, with a mission to kill the blacksmiths. Without the blacksmiths, the hunters will have no swords to fight the demons. So Tanjiro and his friends must fight the demons of the Upper Moons again to stop them.

Thus, the first season of Demon Slayer premiered in April 2019 , becoming a hit with the film. The second season premiered on December 5, 2021, in Japan. Finally, the third season premiered on Crunchyroll following the release of the film To the Swordsmith Village – World Tour on February 2 in Japan.
