During the Genkidamatsuri event, the Dragon Ball has just confirmed an ambitious new project in the gaming world. Titled AGE 1000 , the game will feature a completely new world, with original characters created by Akira Toriyama . It will be released in 2027 and promises to expand the series' chronology to an era never before explored.

According to Bandai Namco , AGE 1000 will not be just another spin-off title. The project introduces an original setting, set far beyond the known sagas, bringing new conflicts and central figures. The first character revealed has already drawn attention for maintaining Toriyama's classic art style while presenting its own identity within the franchise's universe.
Furthermore, the developer confirmed that other new characters will appear throughout the campaign. In this way, the game seeks to renew the experience for veteran fans while attracting new players to the series' universe.
Finally, more official details will be released during the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026 , which takes place in the United States on April 18th and 19th, with a live broadcast.
