Hey everyone, we're in the middle of the Tokyo Olympics, and so we decided to bring you a list of 10 anime to inspire you and help you leave your sedentary lifestyle behind. Therefore, we've selected some works that focus on sports and have been very successful. Now, without further ado, let's get to the list:

Sports Anime – For Your Inspiration

Captain Tsubasa: First, let's start our list with this classic. It was a huge hit here in Brazil a few years ago and it's about one of the most well-known sports: soccer. Therefore, we believe it's perfect to open the list! Besides, who doesn't like a little soccer on the weekend?

Slam Dunk: Now, we see another classic from the world of sports and anime. We're talking about Inoue's masterpiece, which was a huge success with its manga . Furthermore, it's worth highlighting that the work focuses on basketball and does so with unparalleled mastery. This is what we expect from our great master, Inoue.

Haikyuu!!: Here we see a sport in which Brazil excels. Volleyball is a Brazilian strong point, both in the men's and women's categories, and Haikyuu brings all that energy with it. In fact, the series is so famous that it already has 4 seasons, the most recent of which was released last year.

Kuroko no Basket: This one was also a huge hit on TV. It's also about basketball and already has 3 seasons, and all of them have been amazing. Honestly, when it comes to sports anime, this is one of my favorites! I highly recommend watching it.
Sports Anime – Letting the Emotion Take Over

Yuri!!! on Ice: This one deals with a little-known sport, but one that's just as fun to watch and practice as the others. We're talking about ice skating, where this work, released in 2016, captured the essence of the sport in a unique and beautiful way. Incidentally, it's a rather eccentric sport, not widely practiced in Brazil, but it seems to be quite enjoyable.

Hajime no Ippo: And who doesn't enjoy watching a good fight? Boxing is one of the coolest and most exciting sports we have. Furthermore, Hajime no Ippo is a true work of art and is acclaimed mainly for its manga!

Free!: Here we have another sport that isn't as popular as the others, but it's still incredible. Free! deals with swimming in a unique and spectacular way, showing us all the challenges of the sport, and proving itself to be something wonderful. Not to mention that the anime already has 3 seasons for you to binge-watch.

Megalo Box: This series had its second season released in 2021 and was a tremendous success. Like Hajime no Ippo, it also deals with boxing. However, Megalo has a more futuristic feel, which makes the work even more interesting and dynamic!

Tsurune: Kazemai Koukou Kyuudoubu: Now, this one is by far the most eccentric. This work deals with archery! That's right folks, the sport they chose is one of the least known, but it's one we'd all like to try someday. It's definitely worth watching.

Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru: Finally, to close our list with a flourish, we have the marathon! This anime shows us how beautiful a sport is and makes us reflect on the difficulties we may encounter along the way. Therefore, I also recommend this fantastic work.
