The Content Overseas Distribution Association (CODA) has officially announced the closure of 15 pirated anime websites in Brazil . The decision followed a meeting between the organization and the platform administrators, who, after consultation, agreed to voluntarily cease operations.

Therefore, these sites, together, accumulated 120 million monthly visits distributing unlicensed content. Although CODA did not disclose the full list of domains involved, it confirmed that, in addition to the closure, the domains were transferred to the organization itself. Users attempting to access these pages now encounter an official CODA informing them of the closure.
