The popular OVA animation ' Angel's Egg ' ( Tenshi no Tamago ), which achieved great popularity in the 1980s, will receive a 4K remaster to celebrate its 40th anniversary. The launch is scheduled for 2025.

Angel's Egg Synopsis:
In a setting devastated by the apocalypse, arid and enigmatic, a young woman goes through the days in shadows, carefully collecting water in bottles and jealously guarding an egg of mysterious proportions. His solitary daily life is interrupted by the arrival of a man, who carries a peculiar weapon in the shape of a cross. When she comes across the egg, her curiosity instantly awakens. Thus, an unlikely bond forms between them, and together they embark on an uncertain journey through desolate lands, where secrets and dangers await at every corner.
Finally, the remastering of Angel's Egg (Tenshi no Tamago) is supervised by director Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell).
