With nine nominees in the Best Picture category, the list of contenders for the 2014 Oscars was announced today.
The films with the most nominations this year were American Hustle and Gravity, each receiving ten nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actress for Amy Adams and Sandra Bullock, and Best Director for David O. Russell and Alfonso Cuarón.

The other most nominated films are Captain Phillips, 12 Years a Slave, Nebraska, and Dallas Buyers Club, with six nominations. Her, along with The Wolf of Wall Street, has five nominations.

The Oscar ceremony takes place on March 2 in Los Angeles.
