Pabllo Vittar's presence marks a unique moment for Brazilian representation at the Japanese awards ceremony, dedicated to the year's best anime. Internationally recognized, the artist combines her musical career with her passion for the world of anime, a passion she's followed since childhood and which still influences her aesthetic and sound.

Known for her activism and a solid career in pop music, Pabllo Vittar has released six studio albums, with over 60 singles and 50 music videos. Among her accrued awards are two MTV Europe Music Awards and six MTV Millennial Awards Brazil. Despite her hectic schedule, she never abandoned her love of anime, which has become an integral part of her artistic repertoire.
In preparation for the Anime Awards, Pabllo Vittar shared five anime nominations available on Crunchyroll. The chosen titles include classics and recent productions:
- JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
- Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
- Dragon Ball Z
- Hunter x Hunter
- Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
All are fan favorites and reflect the bold visual style that also marks the artist's music videos.
The list was released as a way for the audience to warm up for the awards ceremony, which will be broadcast live in 10 languages, including Brazilian Portuguese. The broadcast will take place on Crunchyroll's official Twitch and YouTube channels, with a pre-show starting at 5:00 AM and the ceremony at 6:00 AM, Brasília time.
Global awards will feature artists from different countries
In addition to Pabllo Vittar, the event will feature prominent international appearances, including Colombian singer J Balvin and Damiano David, lead singer of the Italian band Måneskin. Actors Finn Wolfhard and Gaten Matarazzo, from the series "Stranger Things," will also participate in the ceremony, reinforcing the global reach of the anime industry.
Confirmed performances include rock band FLOW, hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts, and Japanese singer LiSA. The lineup reinforces the connection between music and animation, a theme also present in this year's nominated films, such as DanDaDan, Frieren and the Journey to the Beyond, Solo Leveling, and Kaiju No. 8.
