The premiere date for the anime 86 (86-EIGHTY-SIX), based on the light novel by author Asato Asato . According to the official website, the series will premiere on April 10th on Tokyo MX and other channels.

Synopsis:
The Republic of San Magnolia is under attack by the Empire, but everything is fine; in this deathless war, the fighters on the battlefields are ultramodern, remotely piloted drones… Or at least that's what the Republic wants people to believe.
In an unjust society, pure-blooded Albas form the 85 districts of the Republic, excluding mixed-race individuals into a "non-existent" district, the 86th. And, in this war against the Empire, it is the mixed-race individuals of district 86 who form the trenches on the battlefields and fight to the death or, if they survive, to be accepted into republican society. Lena is the young commander who accepts the mission of commanding the troublesome Spear Head squadron from afar, led by Shin, on the front lines of the battle against the Empire.
Finally, the production is by A1 Pictures , directed by Ishii Toshimasa . The screenplay is by Ono Toshiya and the character design is by Kawakami Tetsuya.
