The new anime 86 EIGHTY-SIX by author Asato Asato will be divided into 2 parts/cour. According to the official website, the series will premiere on April 10th.

Synopsis:
The pure-blooded Albas make up the 85 districts of the Republic, excluding mixed-race individuals into a "non-existent" district, the 86th. And, in this war against the Empire, it is the mixed-race individuals of district 86 who form the trenches on the battlefields and fight to the death or, if they survive, to be accepted into republican society. Lena is the young commander who accepts the mission of commanding the troublesome Spear Head squadron from afar, led by Shin, on the front lines of the battle against the Empire.
Finally, the series is based on the light novel by the author Asato Asato.
