The new anime 86 EIGHTY-SIX by author Asato Asato will be divided into 2 parts/cour. According to the official website, the series arrives on April 10th.

Ishii Toshimasa directed the anime at studio A-1 Pictures . Ono Toshiya writes the script, Kawakami Tetsuya designs the characters.
Synopsis:
The pure-blooded Albas form the 85 districts of the Republic and exclude the mestizos in a “non-existent” district, 86. And, in this war against the Empire, it is the mestizos of district 86 who form the trenches on the battlefields and fight until the end. death or, if they survive, to be accepted into republican society.
