Kadokawa Publishing has revealed the official cover for volume 14 of 86 EIGHTY-SIX , titled Paint It Black . The volume will be released in Japanese bookstores on September 10, 2025 , under the Dengeki Bunko imprint and marks the beginning of final arc .
The illustration, signed by Shirabii , prominently Vladilena “Lena” Milizé 328 pages and, although it doesn't conclude the story, it paves the way for the final stretch. Following the work's pattern, each arc usually has three to four volumes, but the end may take longer due to the history of irregular releases—ranging from three months to more than a year between publications.
