Aniplex has released the opening credits for the new anime 86 EIGHTY-SIX by Asato Asato . According to the official website, the series premiered on April 10th.

Ishii Toshimasa directs the anime at A-1 Pictures . Ono Toshiya writes the script, and Kawakami Tetsuya designs the characters.
Synopsis:
The pure-blood Albas form the 85 districts of the Republic, excluding the half-bloods in a "nonexistent" district, 86. And in this war against the Empire, it is the half-bloods of District 86 who form the trenches of the battlefields and fight to the death or, if they survive, to be accepted into Republican society. Lena is the young commander who accepts the mission to remotely command the troubled Spearhead squad, led by Shin, on the front lines of the battle against the Empire.
Finally, the 86 EIGHTY-SIX series is based on the light novel of the same name.
