The anime 86: Eighty-Six has had its final two episodes postponed to 2022. According to reports, the series has been experiencing production problems since its initial release.
The statement reads: We decided to take extra time to complete the episodes so that viewers eagerly awaiting the climax of the second part of this series can experience it with the best quality we can produce.

Ishii Toshimasa is directing the anime at studio A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online), Ono Toshiya is writing the script, and Kawakami Tetsuya is designing the characters.
Synopsis:
The pure-blooded Albas form the 85 districts of the Republic, excluding mixed-race individuals into a "non-existent" district, the 86th. And, in this war against the Empire, it is the mixed-race individuals of district 86 who form the trenches on the battlefields and fight to the death or, if they survive, to be accepted into republican society. Lena is the young commander who accepts the mission of commanding the troublesome Spear Head squadron, led by Shin, from afar on the front lines of the battle against the Empire.
Finally, the 86 EIGHTY-SIX is based on the light novel of the same name. The first part received a voice acting by Crunchyroll .
