The film Assassination Classroom the Movie: Our Time (Gekijōban Ansatsu Kyōshitsu Minna no Jikan) now has a release date on Crunchyroll. The platform confirmed that the animation will be available starting this Thursday, with original Japanese audio, subtitles in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, as well as an English dub.

The film premiered in Japanese theaters on March 20th and celebrates the 10th anniversary of the anime adaptation. However, creator Yusei Matsui explained that the production also functions as a continuation of the main story, bringing together content that was left out of the TV series due to time constraints.
What does the new Assassination?
Unlike a simple compilation, Assassination Classroom the Movie: Our Time adds new episodes and events to complement the original manga narrative. Thus, the story follows Class 3-E and their unusual teacher, Koro-sensei, once again, in a plot that blends action, humor, and science fiction.
Team and production
The film was directed by Masaki Kitamura at the studio Lerche, with a screenplay by Makoto Uezu and character designs by Aya Higami. The main cast returns to reprise their roles, while Sora Tomonari performs the theme song “Teacher.” The insert song “Machine Gun to Rashinban” reunites the voice actors of Class 3-E under the group 3-nen E-gumi Utatan.
