The official website for the anime of the manga A Couple of Cuckoos (Kakkou no Iinazuke) by author Miki Yoshikawa ( Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches ) has announced its anime adaptation.

According to the announcement, the series A Couple of Cuckoos (Kakkou no Iinazuke) is scheduled to premiere in 2022.

Furthermore, the direction is by Yoshiyuki Shirahata at the studios Shinei Animation (Takagi-san, Doraemon) and Synergy SP (Cross Game, Major) with scripts by Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Kaguya-sama).

Synopsis:

The story follows Nagi Umino, a second-year student who discovers he was mistakenly given to another family by the hospital at birth. One day, on his way to find his biological parents, he encounters Erika Amano, a girl trying to escape her parents' arranged marriage.

Finally, the manga began to be published in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen magazine in early 2020.
