Additionally, it has been confirmed that another anime from the Uma Musume franchise Pretty Derby: Road to the Top will premiere in spring 2023. This anime is unrelated to the 3rd season.
The first season of the Uma Musume Pretty Derby had 13 episodes and premiered in April 2018. Crunchyroll streamed the series when it aired in Japan. An animated “BNW no Chikai” (BNW's Oath) came bundled with the fourth volume Blu- ray Disc of the anime in December 2018.
Synopsis:
The story takes place with Uma Musume (horse girls) who have an excellent ability to run and who aim to become idols and compete in the “Twinkle Series” program. The player takes on the role of not only a coach but also a teacher for the girls at Uma Musume Training Center Gakuen (Japan Horse Girls Training Center Academy).
The second season premiered in January 2021. Crunchyroll streamed the anime when it aired in Japan.
The Uma Musume Pretty Derby was released in February 2021 for iOS and Android.
