On Wednesday (15), the official website of the film A New Dawn released many new details about the work. Thus, the production revealed a teaser trailer, a image and the main voice .

The film is the first feature film by director and screenwriter Yoshitoshi Shinomiya , known for being the illustrator of Makoto Shinkai 's Your Name and The Garden of Kotonoha .

The official X account for the work revealed that the Japanese title of the film will be Hana Rokusho ga Akeru Hi Ni , which roughly translates to: On the Day the Emerald Fireworks Light Up.

Main cast

The actors playing the main characters are experienced, but are making their voice acting debut with this film. Riku Hagiwara, who has worked on the live-action adaptations of My Beautiful Man and Meguru Mirai, stars as Keitaro Tatewaki . Kotone Furukawa , known for her roles in the live-action adaptations of Yu Yu Hakusho and Wheel of Fortune, plays Kaoru Shikimori .

Synopsis of A New Dawn:

"Fireworks cut through the universe." The Obinata Fireworks Factory boasts 330 years of tradition, but is about to be forcibly evicted. Keitarou has been there for 4 years, dedicating himself to making fireworks, and focused on finishing the "Shuhari" or "Ghost Fireworks," a creation of his father, who disappeared years ago. His childhood friend Kaoro moved to Tokyo after a past incident, but is now back in the city to visit him. Together they devise a plan to uncover the secret of the lost firework, the "Hana Rokusho," and the key to the mystery is a pigment called "Paris Green."

The premiere of A New Dawn (Hana Rokusho ga Akeru Hi Ni) will take place in 2025.
