The company Shogakukan announced on Sunday, January 12th, that the spin-off manga " Magi: Sinbad no Bouken" (Magi: The Adventure of Sinbad) will have an anime (OVA) adaptation of the 3rd volume.
The adaptation of Shinobu Ohtaka's Yoshifumi Ōtera 's manga will be included in the special edition of the third compiled volume, which is scheduled for release in Japan on May 16th . Special information about the anime will be published in the second volume, which is scheduled for release on Friday in Japan.
The manga's "prototype," featuring art by Ōtera, was packaged with the anime's Blu-ray Weekly Shonen Sunday at the end of that year. After beginning full serialization in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine , it moved to the publisher's webcomic site " Ura Sunday " last year.
