A Story of Love and Fury awarded best animation!

The Brazilian animation Uma História de Amor e Fúria, also known as (Rio 2096: A Story of Love and Fury) film by director Luiz Bolognesi , after being applauded by the public, received the award for best animated film, during the Annecy , in France, an event held since the 60s and considered one of the most important in the animation industry. The film premiered on April 5th in Brazilian cinemas, drawing attention not only for the quality of the animation, but also for presenting a more mature language, something still uncommon in animations made in Brazil, always aimed at children, placing more emphasis on the educational side. .

The story takes place in four distinct phases of Brazil's history, from before colonization to the future, where a war will be fought over water. The animated feature follows a man who has lived 600 years and is always in search of his loved one.
