The first promotional trailer for the adaptation by author Yūji Terajima was revealed. The Anime Daiya no Ace ( Ace of Diamond ) based on the baseball manga was revealed during a stream on the Niconico website.

The anime's cast includes: Ryota Ohsaka as Eijun Sawamura, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Satoru Furuya, Natsuki Hanae as Haruichi Kominato, and Takahiro Sakurai as Kazuya Miyuki.
Synopsis: Daiya no Ace is a high school baseball manga. where the protagonist Sawamura Eijun is the pitcher of his school's baseball club, during one of his games, Takashima Rei, the manager of a famous team in Tokyo, is impressed by his pitch and invites him to join her team.
Daiya no Ace is Shonen Magazine's fourth most popular manga, behind only Hajime no Ippo, Fairy Tail and Ahiru no Sora. The Anime is scheduled to premiere on October 6th.
