Netflix released a new trailer for the fifth and final season of the anime Aggretsuko on Wednesday. The trailer reveals the season's worldwide premiere on Netflix February 16th
The new season will focus on Retsuko running for office. Rareko is returning to direct the fifth season at Fanworks, and the anime's cast is also returning.
The fourth season announced a fifth season when it premiered in December 2021.
Synopsis
Retsuko is a 25-year-old red panda who copes with the stress and frustrations of her uninspiring job through her favorite hobbies. She works at a trading firm as an accountant, but feels frustrated because she doesn't particularly enjoy the work and feels isolated among her bosses and coworkers. Her weekly moment of peace is singing heavy metal at a karaoke bar after work, where Retsuko can feel like herself. But little by little, the panda tries to deal with her social anxiety and overcome the barriers of adult life.
