AI no Idenshi - Manga gets anime adaptation

AI no Idenshi ( The Gene of AI ), a manga written and illustrated by Kyūri Yamada, had its anime adaptation announced. According to information, the animation is from the Madhouse (Death Note, One Punch Man, Death Parade).

Therefore, the direction is by Yuzo Sato, composition and script by Ryunosuke Kingetsu, character designer and chief animation director by Kei Tsuchiya and music by Takashi Ohmama, Natsumi Tabuchi.

Synopsis:

Humanity's dream… Crystal humanoid technology. They have 'diseases' like humans, but the treatment options are very different. The AI's troubled band is reunited, and the facility's new doctor, Sudou, is a witness.

The work was serialized in Akita's shōnen manga magazine Shoten Weekly Shōnen Champion from November 2015 to August 2017, with its chapters collected into eight tankōbon volumes. A sequel manga, AI no Idenshi: Red Queen, was serialized in Bessatsu Shōnen Champion from October 2017 to June 2019 and was collected into five volumes.
