Following the resounding premiere of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle in Japan on July 18th, Aimer and LiSA released the official music videos for their songs on their YouTube channels. The singles have also been available on physical CD since July 23rd, solidifying the film's success.
Aimer sings of "a world where the sun never rises"
Aimer, known for her powerful voice and for singing in the Entertainment District Arc, performs the track “ Taiyo ga Noboranai Sekai ” (“A World Where the Sun Never Rises”). The song was written by Hikaru Kondo, the series producer, with composition by Go Shiina.
The singer stated that she used her "total concentration" to give voice to the suffering and hope of the characters. As she reported, her intention was to touch the hearts of those who also face a world without light.
LiSA shines again in “Zankoku na Yoru ni Kagayake”
LiSA — responsible for the anime's first opening and the Mugen Train — returns with " Zankoku na Yoru ni Kagayake " ("Shine in the Cruel Night"). The artist highlighted that she sang with hope, focusing on the fans who remain steadfast, even on the most difficult nights.
However, under the direction of Haruo Sotozaki and with animation by ufotable , the film plunges the demon slayers into the Infinite Castle , where Tanjiro and his allies face Muzan Kibutsuji. Undeniably, this is the most intense confrontation in the saga so far.
