The teaser for the well-received “Ajin” OVA by Tsuina Miura (author) and Gamon Sakurai (illustrator) that accompanies the limited edition of the 8th volume of the Ajin manga has been released.
The same team that worked on Knights of Sidonia (Sidonia no Kishi), from the Polygon Pictures studio, will also direct the ova.
Ajin are humans who cannot die. Seventeen years ago, they first appeared on a battlefield in Africa. Since then, more of their kind have been discovered in human society.
The first film “Shōdō” (Impulse) premiered in Japanese theaters on November 27, 2015, after which an anime series arrived on January 16, 2016.
