Akira in 4K gets a release date from Funimation

Funimation has announced that it will release a new 4K remaster of the film Akira on December 15th. According to the streaming service, the limited edition will include a box featuring the film's artwork and a 40-page book .

Finally, this remaster of Akira was released in 4K in Japan on April 24th.
