While Hollywood hasn't decided whether or not it wants to make a live-action version of the anime/manga, a group has decided to come together and produce at least the trailer for this film, titled Akira Project .
The project took almost three years to complete and resulted in a trailer that only leaves fans asking for more.
It only took a few days of filming to produce Akira Project, but the pre- and post-production periods were what made the trailer take so long to come out.
