The teaser site for the SAND LAND announced on Wednesday that Akira Toriyama will receive an animated film, which will premiere in theaters in Japan on August 18. Sunrise , Kamikaze Douga and Anima are producing the animation.
In addition, images of the characters were also made public.

The Sand Land manga is a short series that Toriyama serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from May to August 2000. Shueisha published one volume of the manga in November 2000.
Synopsis
Humans and demons coexist in a hostile place. When the river that once supplied the entire world dries up, the King takes control of all remaining water distribution. So, the old sheriff Lao sets out in search of the legendary Fountain of Dreams , accompanied by the demon Beelzebub and his friend Thief.
