The first promotional video for the anime Akuma no Riddle has been released by Pony Canyon , an adaptation of the manga by Yun Kouga and Sunao Minakata . The anime will premiere on April 3rd on TBS network channels.
The Diomedea (Shinryaku Ika Musume) will be responsible for the production, with Keizou Kusakawa (Dog Days, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha) directing, Kiyoko Yoshimura (Desetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu, Kurogane no Linebarrels) writing the script, Naomi Ide (Gingitsune, Modaiji-tachi) will be responsible for character design, and Masatoshi Muto (Gingitsune, Shin Mazinger Shougeki Z-Hen) will be the art director.
The manga has been published by Newtype since September 2012, and its first volume was released on July 10th.
Synopsis – The story takes place at Myoujyou Girls' Boarding School, in a class composed of 12 assassins. Their target is a girl named Haru Ichinose , who knows her life is in danger but has decided to somehow survive until graduation. Azuma Tokaku , who recently transferred to the class, is also trying to kill her; however, Azuma gradually finds herself drawn to Haru.
