Alderamin on the Sky (Nejimaki Seirei Senki: Tenkyou no Alderamin), a novel by the writer "Bokuto Uno," will have an anime adaptation scheduled to premiere in 2016.
The story takes place in the Katvarna Empire, which is at war with the neighboring Kioka Republic. In the Katvarna Empire, Ikuta hates war, but due to certain circumstances, he reluctantly ends up taking the exam to become an officer.
The first volume was released in June 2012. The 8th volume was released on October 10th, the same day that the 3rd volume of the manga adaptation by Taiki Kawakami was released.
