Aniplex America has released a promotional streaming service for the second season of the anime Aldnoah.Zero. Completing the first season with 12 episodes, the sequel to Aldnoah.Zero is scheduled to premiere in January 2015.

The story of the first season of Aldnoah.Zero takes place in 1972, a Hyperportal was discovered on the surface of the moon, and humanity began using it to colonize Mars. Years later, war breaks out between Earth and the Martian colonists.

Gen Urobuchi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero, Psycho-Pass) writes the series with Fate/Zero director Ei Aoki directing at A-1 Pictures and TROYCA. Katsuhiko Takayama was in charge of the scripts.
