James Cameron 's new film, directed by Robert Rodriguez, has received a new trailer that was promised before Comic-Con. With a visual style unlike anything we've seen in other science fiction films, Alita impresses with its state-of-the-art visuals and computer graphics.

In the meantime, the production had its premiere date postponed by Fox. Previously scheduled for July 20, 2018, it is now set for December 21 of the same year.

The film, produced by James Cameron, faces stiff competition at the box office with two other blockbusters: Aquaman ( trailer ) and Bumblebee , which arrives on the same day. The film boasts a star-studded cast, including Jennifer Connelly, Eiza González, Christoph Waltz, Mahershala Ali, Michelle Rodriguez, Jackie Earle Haley, as well as Rosa Salazar as Alita.

Based on the manga Battle Angel Alita, it tells the story of the title character, who lives in a cyberpunk world set in the 26th century. In the plot, bounty hunter Daisuke Ido finds a damaged cyborg and decides to treat her as his daughter, giving her the same name. Inspired by her adoptive father, the electronic girl then decides to follow in his footsteps and also become a bounty hunter.
