Kyoto Animation has released another promotional video for the anime Amagi Brilliant Park . The 12-episode series is scheduled to premiere in Japan on October 2nd on BS-TBS and TBS.
Amagi Brilliant Park is an original work by author Shoji Gatoh (Full Metal Panic), where he was responsible for the light novel.
The "slapstick drama" begins with the character Seiya Kanie, a high school boy who is invited on a date to an amusement park by a beautiful and mysterious recent transfer student named Isuzu Sento. He is introduced to Ratifa, a "royal" princess and park manager, where he is invited to also be the manager of the amusement park in the suburbs of Tokyo.
Author Gatoh (Full Metal Panic!) began the Amagi Brilliant Park series with illustrations last year, and Bunko magazine published the third volume in January of this year. Yasuhiro Takemoto , who directed the excellent Full Metal Panic, Lucky Star, and Hyoka, is taking over the direction of this new anime.
