Amanchu! — anime adapted from the author’s manga “Kozue Amano” gets its first promotional video. The series will have 13 episodes and arrives in July this year.
Junichi Sato (Sailor Moon, Princess Tutu, Aria the Animation) is serving as chief animation director while Kenichi Kasai (Honey and Clover, Nodame Cantabile) directs at JC Staff studio.
The story continues from Amanchu! follows with members of a diving club in the city of Ito. The manga takes place in the same school and involves some characters from the Roman Club manga, also by Kozue Amano.
