After much uncertainty and rumors that the project had been cancelled, the live action Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) is confirmed. The year chosen for the film to hit Japanese cinemas remains the same, 2014 .
Currently, an anime adaptation of Hajime Isayama's work is being shown in Japan. Furthermore, the release of an OVA was announced, titled Ilse no Techō, together with volume 11 of the manga, which has been published in the pages of Shōnen Magazine since 2009.
