Angry Birds film will be made in 3D and has already defined its directors, newcomers Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reill y were hired to direct the film based on the game.
Reilly worked as a storyboard artist on Hotel Transilvânia and It's Chovendo Hambúrguer and Kaytis was in the animation department on productions such as Wreck-It Ralph, Bolt and Frozen. This will be the duo's directorial debut.
Jon Vitti , veteran screenwriter of TV series such as The Simpsons, The King of the Hill and The Office, is writing the angry birds feature. Sony Pictures is developing the animated feature in computer graphics in partnership with Rovio, owner of the bird game. The film will be executive produced by David Maisel, former chairman of Marvel Studios, and produced by John Cohen, who supervised Despicable Me. Angry Birds the film opens on July 1, 2016.
