Angry Birds movie will be made in 3D and has already defined its directors, newcomers Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reill y have been hired to direct the film based on the game.
Reilly worked as a storyboard artist on Hotel Transylvania and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and Kaytis worked in the animation department on productions like Wreck-It Ralph, Bolt, and Frozen. This will be the duo's directorial debut.
Jon Vitti , a veteran screenwriter of TV shows like The Simpsons, King of the Hill, and The Office, is writing the Angry Birds movie. Sony Pictures is developing the CG animated film in partnership with Rovio, the creator of the Angry Birds game. The film will be executive produced by David Maisel, former chairman of Marvel Studios, and produced by John Cohen, who oversaw Despicable Me. The Angry Birds movie opens on July 1, 2016.
