Unfortunate news for fans. It was released on Friday 17/01 by the press office of the Animazement (Calorina do Norte).
Animator Koichi Tsunoda had been in a long battle against cancer and, unfortunately, he couldn't resist, Koichi Tsunoda passed away last Tuesday 14/01.
The Animazement event will donate $1 from every ticket sold to cancer victims in memory of Tsunoda.
Tsunoda worked on several animes such as Galaxy Express 99 , Mazinger Z , Final Yamato , Transformer : The Movie , among others.
Strength to the family and all the fans! Our condolences.
